We follow Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone, business name), booking history, invoices and payment status. Card numbers are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store them. Transactional email is delivered by Brevo.

How we use it

To run your bookings: confirmations, invoices, receipts and reminders. With your implied or express consent we also send studio news and a newsletter — every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, honoured immediately (CASL). Transactional emails (bookings, invoices) continue regardless.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share only what's needed with our processors: Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), Cloudflare (hosting, Canada-accessible infrastructure).

Retention & your rights

We keep account and invoice records as required for tax purposes (7 years for financial records). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time: info@cedarwoodstudio.ca. You may withdraw marketing consent anytime via the unsubscribe link.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed (PBKDF2), connections are encrypted (HTTPS/HSTS), and access to admin tools is role-restricted and logged.
